Winter Sportswear and TeamWear

winter sportswear and teamwear

Outdoor activities suddenly don't stop because it’s cold outside. Engaging in outdoor sports and team activities in winter can seem baffling and uncomfortable. With low temperature and cold winds, the season has its cons, but you can’t hide inside in comfort all winter. So, the best idea is to engage in winter sports with the right gear that will protect you from the cold weather.
Don’t hold yourself back just because of the cold. Here is our collection of winter sportswear and teamwear to keep you toasty and dry during your winter workout.

1. Layer up

Layering is a basic concept when it comes to winter wear. The fabric needs to trap the heat inside your body and also absorb the sweat so you can stay warm when the temperature starts to drop. We all know days are shorter in winter and it gets dark outside early so reflective details are very important to help you remain visible during the evening and early morning.

A windproof and waterproof jacket up top is the best combination that goes with the wicking layer to beat the cold. It is very important to have a base layer, mid-layer, and a jacket up top for ultimate protection.

2. Pants

If you can’t run without pants in winter even with other alternatives available, choose something with a heavy thermal fabric. However you can’t wear pants in every sport, and if you prefer shorts consider wearing a pair of wind-resistant tight thermal leggings.

For women, light fitness apparel fabric can be comfortable and useful. It will keep you warm without adding bulk to weigh you down.

3. Gloves

People usually ignore gloves when they participate in sports. But remember the heat flow rate is higher in hands and fingertips than other parts of the body. Unisex gloves made up of weather-resistant fleece will keep your hands warm and dry. They will save you from frequently having cold hands during long winter runs. And with built-in touch capability, you won’t have a problem using your phone.

4. Socks

As with hands, feet are also a major escape point for heat to get out. So proper sports socks are necessary. Not wearing one means you will regret it if you happen to run into snow during your winter activities. A no-itch, moisture absorbing fabric is preferred as they keep your feet dry and comfortable.
For team sportswear, long matching fleecy socks are preferred as they protect you even when wearing shorts.

5. Footwear

Proper footwear is essential for sports, even more so in winter. You will need the right shoes to run through snow and ice. Be prepared for slippery and muddy trails and surfaces wearing shoes with good traction. Make sure your sports footwear is comfortable and made of extra tough and water resistant fabric.

6. Headwear

You don’t have to sacrifice your warmth or your favorite playlist anymore. Grab a fleece ear warmer integrated with headphone. Don’t forget to cover your face if the weather is too harsh on your skin.
